It is finally summer and the days are long and bright. Just perfect for piecing a quick lap size quilt. I thought yellow batik would be perfect for the summer along with a darker batik for contrast and green to surround them all. The "Spinners" pattern is a simple strip piece construction using a dark and a light. I made one for the shop in pastel baby colors, but using the batiks makes the quilt look totally different.
